FERRARI MUSEUM MODENA

The Enzo Ferrari Museum is located in Modena, just 20 kilometers from Maranello. The futuristic building that hosts it has the shape of an enormous yellow hood, but of such a bright yellow that it strikes the eyes due to the contrast it creates with the environment in which it is located. The Birthplace of Enzo Ferrari – Museum Foundation was founded in 2003 with the aim of enhancing the motoring tradition of the Modena area and creating a museum complex in Modena dedicated to the figure of Enzo Ferrari, inaugurated on 10 March 2012

Inside there is a huge hall in which various temporary exhibitions are set up, a small cinema where two rotating films dedicated to the life and history of Enzo Ferrari are shown. Among the most significant cars in the life of Ferrari, the story of the founder, as a driver and creator of the Scuderia in the 1930s and as a manufacturer since 1947. A story also told by a spectacular film that envelops the public and allows us to place Enzo Ferrari in the different eras, including drivers, car models and well-known personalities. Alongside this plunge into emotion, in Enzo's father's workshop, now perfectly restored, is the Ferrari Motor Museum. The area is divided into five sectors: that of low fractionation engines, from 1 to 6 cylinders, that of the classic 12 cylinders, that of 8, that of turbos, and, finally, that of Formula 1.

The itinerary continues in the building in front of this enormous pavilion, or in the workshop where Enzo's father worked, now perfectly restored. Furthermore, the Museum hosts a shop that offers a vast range of official products and a bookstore that collects the most important Ferrari publications.

The time for collecting tickets for the Ferrari Museum will always be from 09:30 at the IAT office (Tourist Information and Reception Office) located inside the Museum, even during the summer months when the museum opens at 09:00.
